Satori Folkes-Stone graduated from USC’s School of Dance with a major in Choreography for Stage and Cinematic Arts and was a part of USC's Kaufman School of Dance’s first graduating class. While attending USC, Folkes-Stone partook in both the Black and Latino Alumni Associations. She also participated in USC’s production of West Side Story during her senior year.
Satori found her passion for dance from her mother who was a professional dancer and her first ever dance teacher. After graduating from USC she went onto Broadway and performed in the 2020 revival of West Side Story. She expects to continue the show once Broadway reopens. In addition to being a dancer she is also a choreographer. One of her major goals as both a dancer and a choreographer is to amplify underrepresented narratives in art. She wants to make her art, one that is intersectional and a representation of all communities.
